FAQ

  • What is the best way to view the i-doc?
It is easier to view and engage with the i-doc on a laptop or desktop computer though you can still access it using a phone some of the written elements may be harder to read on a small screen
  • I keep exiting the i-doc when I want to return to a video!
The i-doc is a self-contained program and so the back button will not work. To get to the home screen press the home button, alternatively press the home button for that site to view the remaining participants. The videos will start to disappear as you watch them so there is no way to re-watch clips unless you re-start a new session
  • How do I know if I am doing it right?
There is no right or wrong way to engage with the i-doc. The i-doc is designed to challenge you - the audience - to create a narrative so it might seem confusing at times. if you would like help with a more structured journey visit the Resources section at the top of this page.
  • Is it ok to re-start the i-doc?
Yes absolutely, the i-doc is designed for you to return to at a later date and re-engage with. There are over 1000 individual clips so it is unlikely that you will access everything in one session.
